...ventured to the "under new ownership" soda in Ostional to a delightful surprise. An empinada w/ chicken and rice and two frescas for 1000 colones/$1.80. Pretty cheap lunch out.

- been planning in detail what is next for too long... which rung of what ladder i would be on by what date. all the while thinking "life is short". reckon mine is, on any given timeline. soaking up everything exposed, thru all thy senses, for 50 years, next 30 deciphering. finally writing new chapters, as Willie sings, "phases and stages"!
